Catalonia Caribe is a testing layout surrounded by a tropical jungle with plenty of doglegs and water featuring throughout.

Signature hole is the par-three sixth – not overly long but a real challenge with its island green reminiscent of the 17th at Sawgrass.

A stiff wind often tests your shot-making ability as well as buffeting the palm trees which are liberally sprinkled across the course, including in the middle of some fairways!

Cocotal is an oceanfront course with plenty of strategically-placed trees, bunkers and mounds, as well as daunting water hazards.

The gently rolling fairways are well defined and generous but an unrelenting wind means the course is anything but a pushover – particularly when played to its full length of 7285 yards. However, four sets of tees mean players of all abilities can enjoy the course, along with the stunning ocean views.

Punta Blanca runs through natural wetlands, large waste areas and lakes surrounded by tropical vegetation.

Three-time major winner Nick Price has designed the course so that each hole can be played in a variety of different ways and by players of all abilities. Holes 13 and 15, both par threes, are particularly challenging, with the wetlands coming into play.

Elsewhere on the course missing the fairways isn’t overly punitive, as the first cut of rough is not severe. Drift too far wide though and the wetlands and jungle await!
