Evian Royal Ermitage is a luxury resort located on the banks of Lake Geneva in the French Alps.

The Ermitage is a traditional lodge-style building set within the 42 acres of the Evian Park Resort which comprises of two hotels (Evian Royal Palace & Ermitage), Evian Masters Golf Course and Training Centre, a Kids Club and a casino.

The Ermitage offers 80 rooms and suites, library lounge, games room, piano bar and a variety of excellent dining options.

The Hotel has been totally renovated in spring 2010 by the Parisian interior designer Patrick Ribes.

Spacious hotel rooms now offer a concept based on nature: shades of brown, stylised nature-inspired patterns, harmonious colours, comfortable armchairs... all enhanced by magnificent natural daylight.

La Table Restaurant opens with recipes for the seasons with local produce. Mediterranean-style flavours are proposed at La Bibliothèque, in a more intimate, less conventional setting. To finish off the evening, the bar, Le Birdie, welcomes guests, accompanied by jazz music near an open fire.

80 rooms (30m²) and suites: Southside rooms offer Mountain Views. North facing rooms offer views of Lake Geneva. Rooms are “Cottage”, “Manoir” or “Castel”, depending on their location within the Hotel.

Le Green Sandwiches and cool drinks by the poolside. Le Chalet du Golf At the Évian Masters Golf Club. Leisure Facilities

The Évian Royal Sports Experience accompanies to the most beautiful rivers and streams in the Alps for White-water sports. Water-skiing, fishing and other water-activities at Lake Geneva.

Adventure trail, mountain biking, horse riding, canyoning and abseiling within an exceptional environment. The Évian Royal Sports Experience arranges transfers, equipment and supervision. Guides also available for trekking at medium and high altitudes.

Sports: Tennis, Pitch & Putt, archery, shooting, squash.

The Casino d'Evian is based within an exceptional split-level area, with exotic African decor.

Local Area

All golf play is on site and the resort course which annually hosts the Evian Masters on the European Ladies Tour. The resort also has great practice facilities at their “Training Centre”.

Kids can enjoy endless exciting activities and make new friends at the fabulous Kids Resort or Royal Rider (teen club), so that parents can enjoy leisure time at Evian Resort with the added comfort of knowing that children can also have a great time.

There’s everything from mini safaris and treasure hunts to day excursions, theme nights and sports tournaments. Teenagers even get their own private facility with multimedia zone, sound system and soft drinks bar. And everything’s supervised by a team of fun, qualified professionals.

All activities are free of charge. A supplement is payable for excursions.

KIDS RESORT (3-11yrs)

The 1000sq m Kids Resort has its own workshops, restaurant, heated pool, dance studio and stage for shows.

Activities include mini safaris, treasure hunts, mini-Olympics, sculpting circus acts and more. And each Thursday they get to put on their own Adventurers’ Show.

Open: Every day from 8.30am to 6pm during the French school holidays and from 9am. to 5.30pm at other times. Lunch is available at midday when reserved in advance.

Royal Rider Club (Teenagers)

The Royal Rider Club is a dedicated facility nestled in the heart of the grounds away from parents and equipped with a billiard table, table football, sound system, board games and a bar with fruit juices. There is a mezzanine floor with a cosy relaxation and chat area and a multimedia zone.

Kids can indulge in sports and creative activities including Skating, Rollerblading, Climbing, Squash, Tennis, Pitch & Putt, Sailing, Canyoning, Golf, Water Skiing and Go-Karts

During the French school holidays the club organises day excursions including laser game, aquaparc and bowling, as well as musical programmes theme nights and karaoke.

Open: Every day 12-6pm and 7pm-10pm.

CRECHE (0-3yrs):

1 - 12 months: Your baby will be supervised by early childhood professionals and helped with development through sensorial, introduction to music. Facilities include a nap room, bottle preparation area and changing room.

1 to 3 years: Numerous activities: modelling workshop, introduction to painting, puppet show, swimming pool and water games …

Open: Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 6pm during the French school holidays and from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm at other times.

The Spa Hotel Ermitage is a state-of-the-art spa with steam room, sauna, and exercise centre set amongst the French Alps.

The highly trained staff employ Tellutherapy, a unique method inspired by American Indian, African and Oriental practices dating back thousands of years. It is based around four forms – crystals, stones, clays and earth – which are used to soothe and revitalise the body.

Massage options, include Shiatsu. Hydrotherapy treatments, Reiki and yoga are also available. A full service salon offers hair styling, make up, manicure, hair removal and tinting.

The Evian Masters Training Centre incorporates 12 specific training areas covering all aspects of the game - a 300m driving range, 50m lob/chip shot area, a 900sqm putting green and also 4 practice holes with varying length! All the latest video/computer analysis is also available at Evian.

Tuition packages are available at Evian for beginners as well as experienced players.

Evian Masters Course

The Evian Masters Course is an immaculately presented layout which annually hosts the Evian Masters ladies professional tournament. The course is situated on the banks of Lake Geneva. There are some elevation changes, with generous sloping fairways but small and challenging greens. The 2nd hole is a signature hole - just 147m in length, but the tee is raised and the backdrop is Lake Geneva. A spectacular place to play golf!
