Lorrin Golf is pleased to present four top class instructors who will take Long game and Short Game Instruction at Lorrin Golf Academy.
Instruction will take place at the extensive St Andrews Links Trust Golf Academy. Those attending Academy will also have full use of the Practice facilities at the Fairmont St Andrews Bay Resort.
Kevin Craggs PGA
Director of Golf
Kevin Craggs offers everything that you could wish for in a Professional Golf Instructor. He's a top level player, with a burning enthusiasm to instruct, motivate, entertain, and make a real difference to your golf game.
Kevin's portfolio of students includes US Masters Champion Sandy Lyle, and currently, European PGA Ladies Tour graduate, Lynn Kenny.
Kevin's most charismatic personality has also led him to coach top celebrities including footballer Gary Lineker, Snooker Champion Dennis Taylor, and rugby star Jonah Lomu.
Steve North PGA

Long Game Coach
Responsible for the delivery of world class coaching at the Home of Golf is Steve North, Director of Instruction at St Andrews Links Golf Academy.
Steve is an expert in the use of video analysis technology and has worked with golfers at all levels of the game including successful tournament professionals, nationally ranked junior players, county level players.
Before joining St Andrews as Director of Golf at the Links Trust, Steve was director of instruction at Saujana Golf and Country Club, one of Asia's top golf resorts, and previously became one of the youngest golf professionals to complete the rigorous David Leadbetter training programme.
Originally from Lincolnshire, Steve started playing golf at the age of fourteen and within three years had turned professional.
Kevin Hale
Short Game Coach
Before St Andrews, Kevin was based at The Belfry as an instructor at the PGA National Golf Academy where he was mentored by some of the best instructors in the industry.
Kevin began playing the game at a young age and enjoyed notable success as an amateur. Whilst a junior, Kevin won the Staffordshire County Championship.
During his seven years at The Belfry, Kevin acquired a vast knowledge of teaching the game and is recognised for his coaching expertise. He has enabled international players to achieve greater levels of performance, and helped to strengthen the competitiveness of county squads.
Kevin is a proponent of a truly personal approach: "I work with a player's individual body, mind and technical abilities. I want to improve each area in a simple and practical method to smoothly maximise a player's potential."
Mike Kinloch
Short Game Coach
Mike joins the St Andrews Links Golf Academy from the celebrated Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
Mike was born in St Andrews and has been involved in the game of golf since childhood. His talent and enthusiasm led him into a golf career that began when he joined the staff of the prestigious Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews. While working at the renowned Dukes Course, Mike completed his professional certification. In 1999 he became a member of the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland, and he was named the Scottish Trainee Professional of the Year.
Mike continued to hone his teaching skills and broadened his business experience in the industry as a Golf Professional at the Sahara Golf & Country Club in Kuwait. Mike was instrumental in establishing the club's academy, and was responsible for overseeing the creation of Kuwait's first Junior Development Program. As a lead instructor, he mentored and coached elite players, including members of the Kuwait national golf team.
As a native of St Andrews Mike returns to the home of golf with a commitment to teaching, and helping players of all levels improve their performance and enjoyment of the game.
